A body underwater feels at peace. Once completely submerged in an ocean, the water forms around the curves and edges of a body. The water unifies with the body and becomes one shape. The water carries a body: causing it to float, also giving the sense of weightlessness. The individual does not realize the sensation running through them like a shockwave happens to be the body becoming wet, so they feels as if the atmosphere has changed into a different type of air entirely: a foreign air from another world. Below the surface, a whole new planet can be discovered. This planet lacks the corruption provided by frivolous man-made supplements of business and politics. Instead, this world possesses purity and natural spirituality.
Underwater, there is a taste of chlorine and salt that touches the lips and creeps into the rest of the mouth. The bitterness that inhabits the mouth practically becomes desirable. The salty flavor of freedom has a strong punch, however the punch becomes comforting, almost craved, due to the concept that the feeling of pain has superiority to feeling nothing at all. The brackish substance lightly suggests to the mouth a consumption of nature. Through this faint ingestion, the body dances with nature and becomes part of the Earth as it transports from a world of industrialization to a haven of natural creation.
Surrounding noises begin to sound muffled and compressed as though the sounds were from a tin can. The water pressure compressing the frequencies of the sound waves promotes a feeling of seclusion. The rest of the world is far away and struggles to reach through the dense wall of the liquids that air lacks. All heard remains to be subtle and calming ambiances. The lack of harsh and fluent movements of sound vibrations promotes a peacefulness that is inexistent above the surface. The lack of auditability forms a literal sound of silence that, along with water, fills the ears.
Opening eyes underwater creates a marvelous sensation. As though in an enchanted dream, surrounding objects are moderately visible and understood, but a cloudy, murkiness hinders the ability to see a completely clear picture. The visual formats blissful ignorance. The need for clarity becomes unnecessary due to the separation from the real world. The duskiness of the substance composes a blockade from reality. This establishes a desired isolation.
